Serie A giants Juventus had previously attempted to secure the signature of Darwin Nunez during his stint at Liverpool, but it is now AC Milan who are exploring the possibility of bringing the striker to Italy following his move to Al Hilal.
According to journalist Daniele Longo, the Uruguayan forward is keen to leave the Saudi Arabian club and has expressed a desire to make a return to Italian football.
Nunez is represented primarily by his main agent, Italian lawyer Tommaso Inzaghi, who serves as the right-hand man to renowned football agent Federico Pastorello. For international dealings and transfers, the player also works with his family’s management agency and occasionally collaborates with intermediaries such as Fali Ramadani when negotiating moves within Europe.
Milan have been presented with an opportunity to sign Nunez, largely because of the strong Italian connections through his representation. Although no formal negotiations have begun, the Rossoneri are understood to be admirers of his profile, with manager Ruben Amorim particularly eager to add a proven number nine to his squad.
However, the potential deal faces significant challenges, primarily due to Nunez’s high salary demands. His current wages are reported to be around €20 million annually, making a permanent transfer financially unviable for Milan at this stage. As a result, the only realistic option for the club would be to pursue a loan move.
