The administration has come into alert mode regarding Shri Manimahesh Yatra to be held in Himachal Pradesh. In fact, the Bharmour administration has intensified preparations to make the journey safe and orderly. On Tuesday, Acting ADM Bharmour Vikas Sharma along with officials of various departments inspected the yatra route from Hadsar to Dhanchho and took stock of the arrangements.
During the inspection, the officials saw the condition of roads, culverts and other structures affected by the natural disaster last year. Instructions have been given to repair damaged roads and bridges at many places. The aim of the administration is to complete all the necessary work before the commencement of the Yatra so that the devotees do not have to face any kind of problem.

In fact, Manimahesh Yatra is counted among the most important religious pilgrimages of Himachal Pradesh. Every year thousands of devotees from all over the country reach Bharmour to have darshan of Lord Shiva. Keeping this in view, the administration is working on making the travel routes safer than before. During the inspection, Acting ADM Vikas Sharma instructed the concerned departments to speed up the construction work to footpaths, bridges and roads. Security arrangements and deployment of staff are also being ensured at various places on the yatra route. The administration is especially paying attention to those places where there was damage due to rain and landslides last year.

The administration is preparing to strengthen systems like water, health services, sanitation and emergency assistance. According to officials, there will be constant coordination between different departments to deal with any situation during the yatra. In fact, the Bharmour administration has made it clear that this time the security arrangements will be strengthened during the yatra. Police, administration and disaster management teams will be deployed on the Yatra route so that immediate help can be provided in case of any emergency.
