Indian cricket sensation Mohammad Shami made headlines in the ongoing Bengal Pro T20 by achieving the first-ever hat-trick for the Servotech Siliguri Strikers during their match against the Shrachi Rah Tigers at Eden Gardens on Saturday. His outstanding performance helped the Strikers secure a 24-run victory.
When it was their turn to bat, the Siliguri Strikers put on a show, finishing the first innings with an impressive score of 208/4. Vishal Bhati was the star of the show, delivering a fantastic innings of 86 runs off just 46 balls, which included five fours and six massive sixes.
Karan Lal also contributed significantly with a solid 39 runs, while Pramod Chandila added some late fireworks, scoring an unbeaten 36 off just 16 balls. Mohammad Shami wrapped up the innings with a quick eight not out from two balls.

In the end, the Siliguri Strikers celebrated a convincing 24-run win over the Shrachi Rarh Tigers in the Bengal T20 League, having set a formidable target of 208/4 in their 20 overs. Vishal Bhati's brilliant 86 off 46 balls, featuring six sixes and five fours, was a highlight, while Pramod Chandila's quickfire 36 off 16 balls sealed the deal. The Rarh Tigers, despite solid efforts from Shuvam Dey Sr (48) and Rahul Prasad (44), could only manage 184/9 in response.
Earlier in the day, the Sobisco Smashers Malda triumphed over the Murshidabad Kings with a commanding seven-wicket win in a rain-shortened 15-over match. Murshidabad set a target of 134/7, with Deepanshu leading the way with 47 runs. Suraj Sindhu Jaiswalshone with the ball, taking 3 wickets for just 18 runs, while Writam Porel (50) and Abhimanyu Easwaran (48*) steered Malda to victory with eight balls to spare.
