IND vs AFG : Yashasvi Jaiswal is going to replace Virat Kohli in the 3-match ODI series between India and Afghanistan. This has been disclosed by the chief selector of the Indian cricket team, Ajit Agarkar himself. He gave this information in the press conference announced while announcing India’s T20 team for Ireland, England and Asian Games 2026. He has said that Virat Kohli is out due to hamstring injury. Now Yashasvi Jaiswal will replace him in the ODI series.
Virat Kohli out of ODI series
Virat Kohli was included in the team for the ODI series with Afghanistan to be held from June 13. Before this series, Virat Kohli made a lot of noise in IPL 2026, he made Royal Challengers Bangalore the champion with a brilliant performance, but he got injured during this. He suffered a hamstring injury, due to which Virat Kohli is now out of this series.
Yashasvi Jaiswal replaced Virat Kohli
Now Yashasvi Jaiswal will be seen playing in place of Virat Kohli in the 3-match ODI series with Afghanistan that will run till June 20. Jaiswal has replaced Virat Kohli in Team India’s squad. This has been announced by BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia and Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar.
