The Azerbaijan national team is set to host Malta in an international friendly at the Haladas Sportkomplexum in Hungary tonight.

The Azerbaijan vs Malta match will kick off at 01:00 WIB on Saturday (6 June 2026) early morning.

Both teams are looking ahead to the UEFA Nations League later this year, as neither side will be participating in the World Cup.

It looked as though The Knights would secure a rare away draw before Roland Galcik’s 97th-minute strike rescued the hosts.
