The Russia national football team is set to host Burkina Faso at the Volgograd Arena in an international friendly match tonight.

The match between Russia and Burkina Faso will kick off at 00:00 WIB on Saturday (June 6, 2026) early morning.

The home side’s competitive ban has now lasted for more than four years, and they have maintained their sharpness through a series of friendly games. Meanwhile, the visiting team must also be content with exhibition matches after failing to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

After going on an impressive 18-match unbeaten run, which included Russia’s biggest-ever victory when they crushed Brunei 11-0, their performance has recently dipped, with only one win in their last four outings.
