On May 31, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru batter Virat Kohli scored his 68th IPL hundred in the final match at Ahmedabad against Gujarat Titans. He scored his half-century in just 25 balls, with a boundary off Rashid Khan in the 12th over while chasing 156 runs. Notably, this is the career's fastest fifty in the IPL. In 2018, he scored a 26-ball fifty against the Rajasthan Royals.

Virat started slowly today. He was merely a spectator watching the onslaught by his partner, Venkatesh Iyer. Gujarat Titans could manage only 155 runs, thanks to 50 runs from Washington Sundar. The case was eased by Iyer's opening cameo. Well, after his departure, GT almost got the game back, dismissing Devdutt Padikkal, Rajat Patidar, and Krunal Pandya. With Tim David accelerating from one side, Kohli is leading the chase, despite limping.
