Lifestyle Desk – In the summer season, everyone’s mouth waters on hearing the name of mango. Whether mango is eaten directly, made into a shake or made into ice cream, its taste wins the hearts of people in every form. Especially home made mango ice cream is different. The delicious taste of fresh mango is very good in this and along with it one gets the pleasure of summer season. But many people feel that making ice cream at home is not easy. But you can also easily make mango ice cream at home, just follow this recipe.
Material
Ripe mango – 2 cups (chopped)
Full cream milk – 1 cup
Fresh cream – 1 cup
Condensed milk – ½ cup
Sugar – 2–3 tbsp (as per taste)
Vanilla essence – ½ tsp (optional)
Method
1-Put the mango pieces in the mixer and make a smooth puree. Mix milk, fresh cream and condensed milk in a large bowl.
2-Now add mango puree and sugar and beat it well. If you want, add vanilla essence also. Fill the mixture in an airtight container and keep it in the freezer for 6–8 hours.
3- Take out 1-2 times in between and stir with a spoon so that the ice cream becomes more creamy. After freezing, take out the scoop and serve chilled mango ice cream.
tips
- Alphonso or Kesar mango tastes best.
- You can add dry fruits or small pieces of mango on top.
- You can also make it without cream, but the creamy texture will be slightly less.
