According to NDTV report, Ranveer Singh has sent a legal notice to the Federation of Western India Cine Employees yesterday. Through this he has challenged the non-cooperation instructions issued by the Federation. He says that the Film Workers Body does not have official jurisdiction in this matter. The exact demands of the notice have not been revealed yet. A press conference has been organized by the Federation in which information in this regard can be revealed.

This whole issue started when Ranveer Singh backed out of Farhan Akhtar’s film Don 3 before the shooting started. In the production house case, a loss of Rs 40 to 45 crore has been claimed. Pre-production costs and scheduling commitments have been cited in this. FWICE had issued non-cooperation directive after the complaint received against the actor. Ranveer had maintained silence in this entire matter. However, now he seems to be solving this matter through legal means.

Don 3 in limbo

Talking about Don 3, this film was officially announced in the year 2023. Ranveer Singh was also introduced as the new face of this franchise through a teaser. It reached the pre-production stage in late 2025 and shooting was said to begin in 2026. Now, after the actor’s exit from the film, it is stuck in limbo.
