You have made up your mind to install an air conditioner in your bedroom this summer. But a properly weighted AC is not cheap at all. So before emptying the pocket, the householder has to think a lot about what kind of AC is better to buy. And AC also has variations. Some are all over the house, some consume more electricity. It’s best to do some research before buying which one is right for your home.
1. Split AC
Currently, these types of ACs are more common in homes. Split ie divided into two parts. The air outlet part of the AC is placed on top of the wall inside the house. The other part i.e. the compressor and condenser is usually mounted outside, on the sunshade of the window. Easy to turn on, turn off. For servicing, mainly work on the exterior. Consumes less electricity. Quickly the warm air of the room moved away, spreading the cool air.
2. Window AC
Such a design of AC can be said to be old. If there is no space to install the AC on the upper part of the wall, this unit can be installed in one of the windows of the room. But it is also unlikely to have a large, ‘built-in inverter compressor’. But the price is much lower. Servicing is relatively easy. So if one lives in a rented house, one can think about this type of air conditioner.
3. Portable AC
Many people hesitate to cut the wall and install AC. Maybe this house doesn’t last forever. Or the room in the house is not yet finished. In such situation you can choose portable AC. But do you know, this type of air conditioner draws the most electricity. The device, which draws hot air from inside the room to the outside through wide ducts, often malfunctions and creates ‘negative pressure’, which takes longer to cool down the room.

Whichever AC the householder chooses, that decision is undoubtedly his. However, if you have to make a big one-time expense, it’s best to consider as many aspects as possible. Some general rules should be followed while running the AC. Instead of running continuously all day, you should switch off occasionally. Instead, run a fan, open windows and let natural air enter the room. Don’t forget that staying in AC air for a long time is not good for the human body either.
