New Delhi: Several users of Bharti Airtel reported widespread issues with mobile internet, voice calls and signal connectivity across Delhi-NCR on Thursday following a major dust storm in the region.
Complaints began surfacing on social media platforms and outage-tracking websites as users struggled to access internet services or make phone calls. Many customers reported sudden signal drops, slow internet speeds and complete network outages.

According to user reports:

- Nearly 27 percent reported signal problems.
- About 6 per cent faced difficulties in making or receiving calls

Airtel Care responded to several users online, acknowledging the inconvenience and assuring customers that efforts were underway to resolve the issue.
However, the company did not provide a detailed explanation regarding the outage or specify a timeline for full restoration of services.
The temporary disruption led to frustration among users, particularly those dependent on mobile internet connectivity for work, communication and online services.
Quick Fixes Suggested for Users
While the network issue appeared temporary, users were advised to try a few basic troubleshooting steps to restore connectivity.

One commonly recommended method was turning Airplane Mode on and off after waiting a few seconds, allowing devices to reconnect to the nearest mobile tower. Users were also advised to manually select the Airtel network through their phone settings instead of relying on automatic network detection.
Services Expected to Stabilize Soon
At the time of reporting, Airtel was continuing restoration work across affected areas. The company is expected to issue further updates as network services gradually stabilize.
The incident comes amid severe weather activity across Delhi-NCR, where heavy rain, thunderstorms and strong winds disrupted normal life in several areas on Thursday.
