Bijnor CM Adityanath Yogi: At a program in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took a direct dig at the Maulana-Maulvis who were about to give a statement on the demand of declaring cow as the national animal. He had said that cow is not just an animal but a mother for the Hindu society. He also said that mother and son do not need any government announcement.

CM Yogi also spoke on cow slaughter, atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh, Waqf properties, disestablished families and many other law and order issues. On this statement of CM Yogi, many saints and sages including Sitaram Das Maharaj, Tapasvi Cantonment Peethadhishwar Jagadguru Paramahansacharya, Harish Das and Dr. Deveshacharya Maharaj expressed their views.

CM Yogi’s befitting reply to Maulana-Maulvis

On the continuous demand of Maulana-Maulvis to declare cow as the national animal, CM Yogi replied in agreement and said that, some Maulanas who are continuously giving statements on the demand of cow, then such people should understand that for us Hindus, cow is not just an animal but our mother. This relationship is linked to faith, culture and devotion.

Those who call cow an animal, change their thinking

Yogi Adityanath said that questions are raised on the thinking of those who see cow only as an animal. He also said that people who consider cow as an animal should think about their mentality once. According to him, cow has a place of worship in Hindu religion and
Cow has been given the status of mother. The Chief Minister said in his statement that there are strict laws regarding cow slaughter and those who indulge in it have to face the consequences. Also, those who support cow slaughter should make their followers understand what the consequences of such actions can be.

Saints expressed their views on CM Yogi’s statement

Mahant Sitaram Das Maharaj of Saket Bhawan Temple said in a conversation with the media that ‘What Yogi Adityanath has said is 100 percent correct. Mother cow is the world mother because all the gods and goddesses reside inside her. Mother cow has nectar in her navel and she is also the mother of the Rudras. The thinking of the Maulana-Maulvis who demand to declare mother cow as the national animal is animalistic. Who has no loyalty and respect towards mother cow. He just tries to provoke and create ill will.”

At the same time, Ascetic Cantonment Peethadhishwar Jagadguru Paramhansacharya said, ‘Those who are demanding this do not have knowledge about Sanatan Dharma and do not have religious intelligence, so first of all you people should know about Sanatan. This kind of contradictory viewpoint, in which a person changes his stance according to circumstances, reflects inconsistency in thought and understanding.”

Jagadguru Paramahansacharya further said, ‘CM Yogi has told those who change color like chameleons that cow has been given the place of mother in the Vedas since ancient times. The entire Sanatan Dharma is with CM Yogi.” Mahant of Hanumangarhi, Dr. Deveshcharya Maharaj also said that we all fully support Sanatan Dharma Seem Yogi Adityanath and are with him. The one who calls mother cow an animal should be punished.
