A big good news has emerged for those traveling in Delhi-NCR. Now passengers are going to get a new and eco-friendly option apart from Uber and Ola. Vietnam’s famous company VinGroup’s electric taxi brand Green SM is going to launch its new e-taxi service in Delhi on 5th June i.e. on the occasion of World Environment Day. It is believed that this service will give a new impetus to electric mobility in the capital.

The craze for electric transport will increase with the entry of Green SM.

The demand for electric vehicles is continuously increasing in the country and the government is also promoting clean transportation. In such a situation, Green SM’s entry into the Indian market is considered very important. The objective of the company is not only to provide taxi service but also to make people experience pollution free and modern travel. This will increase the number of electric vehicles on the roads of Delhi and will help in reducing pollution.

Green SM taxis started appearing on the roads even before the launch

For the last few days, green SM taxis have been seen in many areas of Delhi-NCR. This clearly indicates that the company is finalizing its preparations before the launch. Some people on social media have claimed that they have also booked a test ride by creating an account on the company’s mobile app. Although an official announcement is yet to be made by the company, people are getting more excited about this new service.

Modern electric MPV will be available for comfortable travel

Green SM will use the VinFast Limo Green electric MPV for its taxi service. This train has been specially designed keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers. It will provide more space, comfortable seats and a very quiet travel experience. The company has given it a powerful battery of 60.13 kWh, which will be capable of covering long distances. Being electric, this vehicle will not emit smoke and will not harm the environment.

Problems may increase for Uber and Ola

Big companies like Uber and Ola are already present in Delhi, but with the arrival of Green SM, competition may intensify. Experts believe that the new company can provide better facilities, attractive fares and new technology based services to the customers. Passengers will directly benefit from this because as competition between companies increases, the quality of services improves.

Will start with 10 thousand electric cars, big plans ahead

According to reports, Green SM will initially include around 10,000 electric cars in its fleet. Not only this, the company is also planning to connect about 1 lakh electric two-wheelers to its service in future. VinGroup is also preparing to enter the electric scooter and electric bus market in India. Recently the company has also announced plans to expand its manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu. In such a situation, a big change can be seen in the Indian electric vehicle market in the coming time.
