Vaibhav Suryavanshi of Rajasthan Royals batted brilliantly in IPL, for which he received the Super Sixers of the Season award. Also, received the title of Player of the Season. Vaibhav had hit 72 sixes in this season. He scored 776 runs in 16 matches, which included one century and five half-centuries. Regarding this award, Ravichandran Ashwin had jokingly said that Suryavanshi did not get the award for hitting fours. This statement started making headlines on social media, to which Vaibhav Suryavanshi responded.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi told how hard he works to play well on the cricket ground. Rajasthan Royals team performed well in this season. However, his team lost in Qualifier 2, due to which it could not win the IPL 2026 trophy. Now the question arises that how did Vaibhav respond to Ashwin’s joke?

When Vaibhav Suryavanshi got the award for hitting record sixes, Ashwin said that he got the award only for hitting sixes, not for hitting fours.

In response to this, Suryavanshi said, ‘People think that I like to hit shots on every ball. This is the T20 format, for which the coach has given me the freedom to play freely. So I shoot every ball because I can shoot.

Preparation to play in test match

Vaibhav Suryavanshi has expressed that he wants to play Test matches in future also. Regarding this he said, ‘I have practiced many times with the red ball.’ After this Vaibhav said, ‘Next I have to play a Test match. My father has told me that this is the ultimate format of cricket.

He further said that he has played many types of matches before. Vaibhav says, ‘I have also played Ranji Trophy cricket but I did not get many opportunities.’ Along with this, Vaibhav Suryavanshi also expressed that he wants to join the Indian team soon.
