New Delhi. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed Nagendra Nath Tripathi as the National Organizer (Senior Worker Liaison) of the party to strengthen the organizational structure. BJP’s National General Secretary Arun Singh issued a release on Monday saying that the party’s National President Nitin Nabin has appointed Nagendra Nath Tripathi as the National Organizer (Senior Worker Liaison) of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
He told that his center will be Delhi and this appointment will be effective immediately. Nagendra Nath Tripathi, coming from the background of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, has the experience of working behind the scenes for a long time to strengthen the organization. He has worked as the regional organization general secretary of Bihar-Jharkhand region. Before this, he had also been the organization general secretary of Uttar Pradesh BJP for about eight years.
Tripathi was born on January 4, 1955 in a farmer family in Belauli village of Sant Kabir Nagar district (then Basti) of Uttar Pradesh. He is the eldest among the children of Girijapati Tripathi and Mrs. Ganesha Devi. He came in contact with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in the colony itself during his schooling.
While being active in the Sangh for a long time, he worked as a campaigner and strengthened the ideological and organizational activities among the youth. Tripathi also played important responsibilities in the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), where he was recognized as a skilled organizer.
In the year 2003, he was made the General Secretary of BJP Uttar Pradesh Organization. During this period, he paid special attention to organization expansion up to the booth level, worker training and election management. After serving the responsibility in Uttar Pradesh for almost eight years, in the year 2011, he was appointed Organization General Secretary of Bihar BJP.
After this, the BJP leadership appointed him the General Secretary of the Regional Organization of Bihar and Jharkhand in August 2021. This post is considered very important from the organizational point of view, because the Regional Organization General Secretary also handles the responsibility of coordination between the party and the Sangh as well as election strategy and organization expansion.
