In its place, a new Aadhaar App has been launched, in which many modern features to security, privacy and digital verification have been added.

Now Aadhaar information can be shared securely by scanning the QR code.
Face Authentication
Face authentication facility has been provided for verification, which will make identity verification easier.
Biometric Lock/Unlock
Users will be able to lock and unlock their biometric data, which will further strengthen the level of security.
Limited Data Sharing
Now during any verification, only the necessary information will be shared, not the complete Aadhaar details.
Enhanced Privacy & Security
Data security and privacy have been given special priority in the new app.
OTP will be required less
In the new Aadhaar App, you will not have to depend on SMS OTP every time for verification. Features like QR code and face authentication will make identity verification faster and convenient.
