Bureau Prayagraj. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Friday made a big attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the NEET paper leak controversy. Writing on his X handle, Rahul Gandhi said that NEET, CBSE, SSC and today CUET, four exams and one crore children. Not a single one could be done honestly. The generation whose future you are ruining will hold you to account.
Rahul Gandhi on Saturday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of “completely ruining” the country’s education system and said that on one hand the government claims to be India’s ‘Vishwaguru’ while on the other hand it is not able to conduct even a single examination in a fair and systematic manner.
Rahul Gandhi’s comments come at a time when the National Testing Agency (NTA) said the Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET-UG) 2026 exam, conducted for admission to undergraduate degree programs across India, was delayed at some centers on Saturday due to technical glitches.
“NEET, CBSE, SSC and today CUET,” Gandhi said in a post on ‘X’. Four exams. One crore children. Not even a single (exam) could be conducted honestly.” Gandhi said, ”Vishwaguru’s claims, but cannot conduct an examination in the country – Modi ji has destroyed the entire education system.” Targeting the Prime Minister, the Congress leader said, ”The generation whose future you are ruining – that very generation will hold you to account.” Rahul Gandhi wrote that Prime Minister Modi had also personally monitored the question paper leak of the NEET exam. Let us tell you that for the last few days, Rahul Gandhi has been seen continuously cornering the government regarding NEET paper leak and On-Screen Marking (OSM) system.
Rahul Gandhi on Friday had said that Modi’s silence on the failure of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and not taking action against the education minister shows that he is only concerned about the survival of his government and not the future of millions of students. The Congress leader also shared a video of his previous interaction with students who had taken the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET-UG) exam and expressed his concerns over the examination system in the wake of the paper leak.
