Royal Challengers Bangalore won the trophy for the second time by defeating Gujarat Titans by 5 wickets in the match played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 31 May. With this victory, RCB captain Rajat Patidar has created history. In fact, after MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma, Rajat Patidar has become only the third captain to win the IPL title twice consecutively.
