Vietjet announced it would launch a direct route connecting Vietnam’s Nha Trang tourist city with Singapore, the world’s second-richest country by GDP per capita in 2025 after Switzerland, from December amid growing travel demand.
The route was unveiled at the Vietnam-Singapore Tech Connect Forum 2026 on May 29 in the presence of Vietnamese General Secretary and President To Lam and senior officials from both countries.
In a statement issued on June 1, the carrier said that it will operate four weekly flights between Singapore and Nha Trang starting Dec. 11.
Services will run on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The Singapore-Nha Trang service will become Vietjet’s fifth direct route linking Singapore with Vietnam, joining existing services to Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang and Phu Quoc.
Located on Vietnam’s south-central coast, Nha Trang is renowned for its white-sand beaches, vibrant marine life and fresh seafood, earning a reputation as one of the country’s top coastal destinations.
Singapore has been named the best country for culture and tourism in Southeast Asia in a 2026 ranking compiled by U.S. News & World Report in partnership with the University of Pennsylvania.
