CUET Exam Cancelled: The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) examination held on Saturday at the Adarsh ​​Examination Center located in Noida Sector-62 became a cause of great trouble for the students and parents. Hundreds of candidates who had come since morning to take the exam had to wait for hours, but due to technical glitches the exam could not start. Ultimately, after the announcement of cancellation of the exam, the anger of the students erupted and they protested outside the center and raised slogans against the National Testing Agency (NTA).

The students allege that they had reached the center on time for the examination at 9 am. When they got entry into the examination hall after standing in long queues, they had to face chaos there too. According to the candidates, they were made to sit in the room for one to two hours while waiting for the examination to begin, while even the fans in many rooms were not running. Amidst the scorching heat, students kept waiting for the examination to start, but in the end the examination was cancelled.

Anuj, who was involved in the protest, told that his brother’s exam was from 9 in the morning. He dropped them at the center at 6:30 in the morning and returned home and came to pick them up at ten o’clock, but till then no student had come out. There were continuous announcements being made from inside that the examination was not starting due to technical reasons. According to Anuj, a student came out and told that even after more than two hours had passed, the examination had not started and the students were not even being allowed to come out.

Candidates say that they were preparing for this exam for many months. Due to the cancellation of this examination conducted after 12th for admission in prestigious universities and colleges of the country, the concern about their future has increased. Students and parents have demanded transparency and accountability in the examination process.

The protests continued outside the center for a long time. Disappointed with the cancellation of exams, students and parents were seen raising questions on the system. He said that if the technical arrangements were not proper then it should have been checked before conducting the examination, so that the students do not have to face such problems.
