Nitish Kumar was the Chief Minister of Bihar for more than two decades. He resigned on 14 April 2026, ending his tenure as Chief Minister. After this NDA made Samrat Chaudhary the new Chief Minister of Bihar. Whereas Nitish Kumar stepped down from the post of CM and became a Rajya Sabha MP. After resigning, Nitish also said that the new government will handle the affairs of the state and will get his ‘full support and guidance’.

There was a discussion in the political circles about Janata Dal United (JDU) President Nitish Kumar that Nitish Kumar had left the post of Chief Minister under pressure. Because the leader who changed alliance partners several times to remain the Chief Minister of Bihar suddenly left the biggest post of the state. ‘

However, after leaving the post of Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar is now rarely seen in public. In such a situation, the question arises that where is Nitish Kumar after leaving the post of Chief Minister? Why is he seen so rarely?

Where is Nitish Kumar?

In fact, after looking at Nitish Kumar’s social media platform ‘X’, it is revealed that till a month ago, Nitish, who used to update posts daily about attending some program or the other, is now much less active. One post on his timeline is dated May 8 and the other on May 29. In both these posts, he is seen meeting Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary. Apart from this, he keeps writing posts like birthday greetings, good wishes, death anniversary etc. to someone every day.

Sometimes seen in JDU office

At the same time, after visiting the official X page of JDU, Nitish Kumar definitely seems a little active. In this, he is seen meeting with party leaders and party MLAs in the party office. But, very few updates have been made in this regard also. Mostly old videos and photos of Nitish Kumar have been posted on JDU X handle.

Why is Nitish Kumar less visible?

Nitish Kumar was earlier the Chief Minister of Bihar, due to which he had to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of development works done in every corner of the state, whereas now he is just a Rajya Sabha MP. Being a Rajya Sabha MP, he has very limited powers, hence he is less visible in public.
