It is known that 7 villagers entered the cave in search of gold on May 19 and 20. However, after entering inside, water filled the cave due to heavy rain. All exits are closed. The villagers were trapped several hundred meters below the cave. A member of this group managed to get out of the Harpa Bun’s grip as he was close to the mouth of the cave. He went to the village and gave the news. The news goes to the administration. After that, the rescue team started a rescue operation in this mountain cave, located 120 km north of Vientiane, the capital of Laos.

However, as this incident caught the attention of the world, expert divers from Thailand, Indonesia, France and Australia arrived in Laos to assist in the rescue work last Friday. On Saturday, 5 people were rescued alive from inside the cave. One is said to be still trapped in the cave. Efforts have been made to rescue him alive.
A video of this suffocating rescue operation has gone viral on social media. Where it is seen, after the rescue of four persons from the cave, the people present there are bursting with joy and excitement. After the rescue, one person was taken to a makeshift medical center, his face was full of joy. Three others passionately hugged the rescue workers.
