Audi Owner Viral Video : The recent increase in petrol prices by Rs 3 per liter has put additional burden on the pockets of common people. Meanwhile, a video is becoming increasingly viral on social media, in which businessman Vineet Bansal is seen suggesting a different solution to rising fuel prices.
He says that the increased prices of petrol and diesel have the biggest impact on those people whose livelihood directly depends on vehicles. These include auto rickshaw drivers, people who go to work by bike and low-income families. In the video, he explains that people of these classes are more affected by the cost of fuel than the owners of expensive vehicles.
Fuel should be expensive for the rich and cheap for the poor.
In the video, Vineet Bansal, describing himself as a luxury car owner, says that for people like him, an increase of a few rupees in petrol prices does not become a big financial crisis. He believes that the government should consider a different system for fuel prices based on income and vehicle category.
He suggested that petrol and diesel could be made available to two-wheeler drivers and auto rickshaw drivers at lower prices up to a certain limit. At the same time, owners of expensive and luxury cars may be charged higher prices for higher fuel consumption. They argue that fixing the same price for all vehicles does not take into account the economic condition of each class.
People agreed with uncle
This video is becoming increasingly viral on social media and people are giving different reactions to it. On the viral video, many users appreciated Vineet’s thinking and said that for the first time a luxury car owner has tried to openly understand the problems of common people. One user wrote, “For the first time an Audi owner has talked about the poor.”
Another user said that despite being financially capable, speaking in the interest of the poor and middle class is commendable. Although some people believe that implementing such a system could be challenging in practice, the video has certainly sparked a new debate on fuel pricing.
