In a Weibo post on Tuesday, her manager said the 46-year-old star had been moved to a regular ward, according to Singapore-based news platform AsiaOne.

Her condition was triggered by stones that were later removed at Taipei Medical University Hospital, he said. Landy is expected to be discharged within a week.

She was admitted to the ICU on May 14 with a persistent fever and abdominal pain. Emergency room doctors also discovered that her white blood cell count was three times higher than normal.

Two days later, her manager told Taiwanese media that Wen was conscious but unable to eat.

In the Weibo note, the manager thanked Wen’s celebrity friends including Vivian Hsu, Jacky Wu, and Kenji Wu for their support during her recovery.

He also expressed gratitude to Wen’s boyfriend, Reno, for quickly taking her for medical attention, and to fans and friends for their support and well wishes.

But he urged fans and netizens to send messages instead of visiting the hospital to avoid disturbing other patients.

Wen is planning to resume work in September, while her postponed concerts in Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Chengdu are now expected to take place in December.

The singer first gained attention through the 1997 singing contest Super Newcomer in Taipei and was later signed to Alfa Music International by Jacky Wu. The two went on to release the hit duet “Rooftop” the following year.
