He has said that in many parts of the world Israel faces criticism and questions on the legitimacy of the Jewish state, but in India people’s support and affection for Israel is extremely strong. He said that incredible and tremendous love for Israel is seen in India.

Addressing a leadership program organized in the Jordan Valley on Thursday, Netanyahu described India-Israel relations as an important pillar of the strategic partnership between the two countries. He said that Israel is continuously expanding its international alliances and in this direction its special relationship with India is very important.
Netanyahu said that we are expanding our alliances and this larger scope includes our unique relationship with a large and powerful country like India. He claimed that there may be a critical environment towards Israel in other parts of the world, but the situation in India is completely different.
