Electric Scooter Launch: If you too were waiting for Ultraviolette’s futuristic electric scooter Tesseract, then now your wait may get longer. For your information, let us tell you that the company has extended the launch date of this much awaited electric scooter. Which was earlier scheduled to be launched by mid-2026, is now expected to be launched by January 2027. Regarding this delay, the company has said that this delay is happening to provide better and advanced scooters to the customers. It is being said that Ultraviolette is now preparing this scooter with the new 100V architecture which will be ahead in power, performance and range.

Why was the launch of Tesseract postponed?

According to the information given by Ultraviolette Automotive, the company wants to bring not just a stylish scooter but a high-performance electric machine. Due to which a big change is taking place in the internal technology of the scooter. In which it is being told that Tesseract is being prepared on a 100-volt platform. Regarding which the company claims that with this the scooter will be able to lift more weight and its acceleration and battery efficiency will also be better than before.

More than 70 thousand people have made booking

If we talk about last year, this maxi-scooter style electric vehicle came into discussion as soon as it was introduced. In which the spectacular design of the scooter was successful in attracting people towards it, which was giving a futuristic feel like a sports bike. Due to which as soon as its booking started, a huge crowd of customers went towards it. In such a situation, if we talk about booking, more than 70,000 people have booked it so far. In which its starting ex-showroom price is said to be Rs 1.45 lakh. Apart from this, regarding the features of the scooter, the company claims that Tesseract can give a range of up to 261 kilometers on a single charge, while its top speed is said to be up to 125 km per hour.

Strict testing is being done on Indian roads

Currently, India is a very big market, keeping in mind that the Ultraviolette scooter is being completely designed according to the Indian weather and roads. In which it is being tested on bad roads, hot weather and in different conditions. Not only this, the company’s CEO Narayan Subramaniam said that this scooter has become more advanced than its initial thinking. According to CTO Neeraj Rajmohan, the new 100V technology will take both the capacity and range of the scooter to the next level.
