Asian U20 Athletics: India end campaign with 19 medals – Complete list of medallists

India closed their 2026 Asian U20 Athletics Championships with a total of 19 medals, including ten gold.

They finished second on the medal tally behind China, marking their best-ever performance in the continental competition outside of home soil.

The final day of the competition saw men’s 800m runner Mogali Venkatram and the women’s 4x400m relay team of Bhumika, Tahura, Sehnoor & Neeru clinch a gold medal apiece.

Nishchay Phogat in men’s discus throw bagged silver with a junior national record, while the women’s 4x100m relay quartet of Kajal, Bhavana, Aarti & Nipam replicated it as well.

The men’s 4x400m relay team of Piyush Raj, Sayed Sabeer, Ranjith Kumar S & Mohammed Ashfaq also bagged a bronze with an U20 national record.
