The ongoing tension between America and Iran is not ending. While till yesterday there was hope for talks and reconciliation between the two countries, by morning the whole scene had changed. Instead of improving, things between the two countries now seem to be worsening and once again the sound of a world war has intensified.

In the latest developments, very disturbing news is coming from the battlefield. American missiles targeted Iranian boats near the Strait of Hormuz. After this, Iran also did not sit quietly. Retaliating, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has claimed that it has shot down a very modern and expensive American MQ-9 drone flying in the sky. After this incident, tension between the two countries has reached sky high.

Missiles fired amid ceasefire, now oil prices will rise

There were talks of ceasefire between the two countries, but the ground reality is that rapid missile attacks are taking place from both sides. With this latest attack, the hopes of reopening of the ‘Strait of Hormuz’ are now almost over. In fact, till yesterday Iran seemed to agree that it would open this very important sea route. Under the agreement that was going to be made between America and Iran, Iran had agreed to open Hormuz. But in the midst of this conversation, America bombed an Iranian island located near Hormuz, which added fuel to the burning fire.

After this first action taken by America during the ceasefire, the situation has become out of control. Now not only Iran’s army (Revolutionary Guard), but Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei himself has taken charge. Khamenei has warned directly on his Telegram channel that the Gulf powers will no longer act as a shield for American bases. He said in clear words that no Gulf country will now become a safe haven for America.

Iran was ready to give up tax on Hormuz, but America spoiled the game

According to the agreement that was on the verge of being signed, Iran was going to take a huge step. He had agreed not to collect toll tax (transit fee) from ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz. Iran had assured that no duty will be charged from any ship passing through this international sea route. But when these talks were in the final stages, the American attacks spoiled the whole game.

Now that there is every possibility that Iran’s blockade on Hormuz will continue, crude oil prices are going to rise again. The mere sound of resumption of war has caused an earthquake in the oil markets of the entire world. Crude oil prices in the international market have once again crossed $ 100 per barrel. As soon as the news of the American attack came, Brent crude jumped, while on the Indian Commodity Market (MCX) crude oil also became costlier by 1.90% and reached the level of Rs 8,779 per barrel.

India’s tension may increase, petrol-diesel and inflation will be shocked

The war breaking out in this corner of the world is going to have a direct and major impact on India. This news is no less than a big shock for Indian consumers, because the prices of petrol and diesel are already skyrocketing in the country. Within the last 10 days, the prices of petrol and diesel have increased by a huge amount of Rs 7 per liter. Not only this, the prices of CNG have also increased again today.

Due to the cost of oil in the international market, India’s foreign exchange reserves are being adversely affected, due to which the Indian rupee is continuously weakening against the dollar. Experts believe that if the situation in the Middle East does not improve soon and the route of Hormuz is not opened for common ships immediately, then Indian oil companies can increase the prices of petrol and diesel further. This simply means that in the coming days, the common man of the country may face another big and heavy blow of inflation.
