New controversy in Bollywood

New Delhi: There are often reports of disputes between actors and directors in Bollywood. Recently, a new incident has put actor Ranveer Singh in trouble. Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has banned Ranveer. This decision has been taken due to the ongoing dispute between Ranveer and Farhan Akhtar regarding the film ‘Don 3’. Let us know what this matter is.

Farhan Akhtar took legal action

According to a report, Ranveer Singh suddenly refused to work in ‘Don 3’, after which Farhan Akhtar contacted FWICE. In the FWICE meeting held on Monday, it was decided to take strict action due to Ranveer’s unprofessional behaviour. As a result, the federation directed the Bollywood industry not to work with Ranveer. The decision was taken after the filmmaker decided to take legal action against Ranveer.

The federation had earlier issued a statement, saying that the complaint was made through the Indian Film and Television Directors Association, of which Farhan is also a member. Now the Federation says that this decision has been taken against Ranveer after investigating all the circumstances.

beginning of controversy

The film ‘Don 3’ was officially announced in August 2023, which is being directed by Farhan Akhtar. However, in 2025, reports of a dispute between Ranveer, Farhan and Excel Entertainment’s Ritesh Sidhwani came to light. It was being said that Ranveer wanted some changes in the script of the film, but the producers did not agree to it.

Meanwhile, there was also talk that Farhan might cast Hrithik Roshan in place of Ranveer, but Hrithik dismissed these rumours. Now it is being told that due to the pre-production of the film ‘Don 3’, Farhan has demanded a compensation of Rs 40 crore from Ranveer. It remains to be seen whether Ranveer pays the damages after this strict action of FWICE or the matter escalates further.
