Congress President Malkiarjun Kharge wrote on social media X, petrol has now crossed ₹ 100, this time… Looting of the public’s earnings in installments! BJP’s stomach was not filled by imposing central tax of ₹ 1000 crore daily on petrol and diesel… When international prices were low, it did not benefit the public, it looted them heavily. When the crisis came, he got involved in the elections, and after the elections preached sacrifice.
He further wrote, then increased the prices of petrol and diesel 3 times in 8 days, we were told that the prices in India are the lowest compared to foreign countries.
