DRDO DEAL Paid Internship 2026: The Defence Electronics Application Laboratory (DEAL), under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), has released the official notification for its paid internship recruitment for the year 2026. Under this recruitment process, eligible candidates will be selected for a total of 45 internship positions.

**Departments Offering Internships**
Under this recruitment drive, internship opportunities will be offered in the departments of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.

Regarding department-wise vacancies, 20 positions have been allocated for Electronics and Communication Engineering, 20 positions for Computer Science Engineering, and 5 positions for Mechanical Engineering.

**Who Can Apply?**
Students pursuing B.Tech./B.E., M.Tech., and M.Sc. (Electronics) are eligible to apply for this recruitment.
B.Tech./B.E. students who have completed their third year (or sixth semester)—or are scheduled to complete it by July 2026—are eligible.
Similarly, M.Tech./M.Sc. (Electronics) students who have completed their first year (or second semester)—or are scheduled to complete it by July 2026—are eligible to apply.
Candidates must belong to an AICTE-recognized institution. Additionally, they must possess a minimum CGPA of 7.0 on a 10-point scale.
Furthermore, candidates must not have any backlogs or failed subjects in any discipline during the first five semesters of their degree program.

**How ​​Much is the Stipend?**
