New Delhi: Aditya Dhar’s blockbuster directorial, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh, is now all set to release on OTT in India. On Wednesday (May 21), JioHotstar shared a post announcing the grand digital premiere of the film on their OTT platforms. Additionally, Dhurandhar: Part 1’s ‘raw and undekha’ version will be released on Netflix and JioHotstar.

If you missed the movie in theatres or just want to re-watch it again, then here’s your chance to catch the movie’s “raw and undekha’ version in the comfort of your home before the grand digital premiere of Dhurandhar 2.

Dhurandhar: Part 1‘s ‘raw and undekha’ version will be released on Netflix India on May 22 amid the legal dispute. The film will be released in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Notably, the first installment of Dhurandhar is already streaming on Netflix.

Sharing the announcement, Netflix India wrote, “Aandhi aa rahi hai. Aur iss baar, extra ghatak.”

On the other hand, JioHotstar announced that Dhurandhar: Part 1‘s ‘raw and undekha’ version will start streaming on their platform from May 22 onwards. Additionally, Dhurandhar: The Revenge will make its grand digital premiere on June 4 at 7 pm, and subscribers can start streaming the movie from June 5 onwards.

Announcing the same, JioHotstar wrote in the caption, “A kasainuma version specially for you all. Watch Dhurandhar, Raw & Undekha, Streaming from May 22nd, only on JioHotstar. Watch Dhurandhar The Revenge, Raw & Undekha. Grand Digital Premiere on June 4th at 7 PM, starts streaming from June 5th only on JioHotstar.”

On May 14, Dhurandhar: The Revenge‘s extended version was released globally on Netflix. However, the film skipped India’s digital premiere due to a legal dispute between Netflix and JioHotstar. The film’s official streaming partner is JioHotstar, which means the platform has exclusive digital rights to the film.

Dhurandhar 2 had a phenomenal run at the box office, collecting Rs 1,798.86 crore worldwide. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film stars Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, and Sanjay Dutt in pivotal roles.

The film picks up from the events of the first part, where the Indian spy Jaskirat Singh Rangi, aka Hamza, works to dismantle terrorism from within.
