Gemini 3.5 Series

During the live event organized, the company gave a big surprise to the users by introducing the Gemini 3.5 series. Google has launched Gemini 3.5 Flash, the first model of Gemini 3.5 series. The company claims that this model will deliver better performance than before for coding, large tasks and real-world workflows. According to Sundar Pichai, Gemini 3.5 Flash outperforms Gemini 3.1 Pro in many benchmarks. Interestingly, its speed is about 4 times faster than other AI companies’ models. Google also said that the company is already using this model in its new agent-first development platform, AntiGravity, to speed up software development.

Gemini Omni

At the event, DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis introduced the Gemini Omni model. The company says that this model will make Gemini’s world knowledge and reasoning capabilities stronger than ever. According to Google, the new model also significantly improves understanding of complex scientific concepts such as kinetic energy and gravity.

Hassabis has said that Gemini Omni Flash will now be added to many Google products and that more major Gemini Omni updates are coming by the end of this year. Gemini Omni is Google’s first video generation model that can combine multimodal input into a single prompt. This means that a single prompt can contain video, audio, text and images. Gemini Omni Flash is currently being rolled out globally to Google AI Plus, Pro and Ultra subscribers through the Gemini app and Google Flow.
