The ministers who held the secret meeting are ministers HC Mahadevappa, BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan, K Venkatesh and Public Works Minister Satish Jarkiholi.

According to media reports, this meeting took place at the house of Public Works Minister Satish Jarkiholi. However, Zameer Ahmed Khan has vehemently denied that he held any secret meeting with three other ministers. However, he said that everyone had met for breakfast before leaving for Tumkuru. It is being speculated that DK Shivakumar might have made vows for his coronation in the Tirupati temple.

Who is the next CM after Siddaramaiah?

Situation of confusion in Congress

congress high command has not yet clarified the situation on change of leadership in the state, while there is a demand for an early solution within the state unit. Both Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar have said that they will accept the decision of the high command, although their supporters are emphasizing their respective claims. Party leaders said successful mobilization at the Tumakuru event could strengthen Parameshwara’s position within the party. Shivakumar, a well-known leader of the Vokkaliga community, is staking his claim to the CM post after Siddaramaiah completes 30 months in office in November 2025.
