Ingredients
- Drumstick beans (cut into medium pieces)
- Potatoes (cut into small pieces)
- Onion (finely chopped)
- Tomato (chopped or paste)
- Green chilly
- ginger-garlic paste
- Turmeric, Coriander Powder, Red Chilli Powder
- garam masala
- salt as per taste
- Oil
- green coriander for decoration
Method of preparation
First of all, heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and temper it. Then add onion and fry until it becomes light golden. After this, add ginger-garlic paste and cook well so that the rawness goes away.
Now add tomatoes and all the dry spices-turmeric, coriander and red chilli powder and fry the spices well until the oil starts separating.
After this add chopped potatoes and fry for 2-3 minutes. Then add drumstick pieces and mix well. Add some water, cover and cook on low flame until the vegetables become soft.
Finally add garam masala and green coriander and mix the vegetable well.
serving method
Serve this vegetable with hot rice or roti. Eaters like its spicy and desi taste very much.
special tip
If the drumsticks are a little hard then they can be used by lightly boiling them first, which improves both the taste and texture.
