Authorities in Hardoi district reported the discovery of a young man's body near an Eidgah outside a village in the Kachhauna police jurisdiction. Family members of the deceased have accused someone of murder, as stated by police on Friday.
According to police reports, the body of 30-year-old Riaz was found on Thursday evening near the Eidgah in the village of Kamipur. Villagers noticed his bloodied body lying atop a pile of bricks, with visible signs of head trauma.
Riaz had left his home late Wednesday evening with another young man from the village, and his family is now pointing fingers at this individual for the alleged murder. Upon being informed by locals, Riaz's parents and brother arrived at the scene. The station officer, Nirbhay Pratap Singh, also reached the location with police personnel and arranged for the body to be sent for an autopsy.
Higher-ranking police officials and a forensic team arrived shortly after to begin their investigation and collect evidence. Riaz's brother, Raj, along with their mother, Shajratun, has accused a local youth of taking Riaz from their home and committing the murder.
The police are actively investigating the case. Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Subodh Gautam, along with Circle Officer (CO) Praveen Kumar, visited the scene to conduct inquiries and gather information from the family. Authorities indicated that various aspects of the case are being examined, and legal actions are forthcoming.
