Banks CLOSED: If you are planning to go to your bank for any banking related work during festive weeks please plan it accordingly as several banks in India will be closed for multiple days in this week. The reason of closing of banks is upcoming major festivals. The banks state-run and private will be closed between October 13 and October 19. Notably this month is seeing several bank holidays and less banking work because of major festivals such as Navratri Durga Puja Karva Chauth and Diwali.
