Obnews Tech Desk: Users once again faced a lot of trouble in transaction on the UPI platform used for digital payments. Users failed to send and receive money on many apps including Paytm, Google Pay. This is the second time in the last two weeks when this type of blockage has been observed in UPI services.
According to Downdetetor at 7:30 pm, the problem was at its peak
According to the report by Downdetector, the outage was the most effective at around 7:30 pm. According to the data, 52% of users faced fund transfer, 45% payment and 3% using the app. However, this time the outage was not as widespread as before.
NPCI did not give any official response
The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), which manages the entire UPI system, did not give any official statement about this outage till the time of the problem. While in the previous outage, NPCI said, “Today, due to the end of the financial year, temporary transactions are failing in some banks. The UPI system is working normally and we are solving together with the respective banks.”
