The registration period for the Probationary Officer (PO) 2024 recruitment test has been extended by the State Bank of India (SBI). Eligible individuals have till January 19 to complete the SBI PO application form on SBI’s official website, sbi.co.in.

Previously, January 16, 2025, was the deadline for registering for the SBI PO 2025 test. The official schedule states that the SBI PO 2025 application form must be updated by January 19, 2025, and payment must be made for SBI PO 2025 registration.
The preliminary exam for SBI PO 2024 is scheduled for March 8–15. In the third or fourth week of February 2025, the SBI PO admit card for the preliminary exam will be released. In April or May 2025, the SBI PO 2024 Main test will be held.
The goal of the SBI hiring campaign is to fill 600 positions for probationary officers. Unreserved (UR) positions number 240, Other Backward Classes (OBC) positions number 158, Scheduled Castes (SC) positions number 87, Scheduled Tribes (ST) positions number 57, and Economically Weaker Sections positions number 58.
The 100 questions in the SBI PO 2024 preliminary test will be broken down into three categories: reasoning ability, quantitative aptitude, and English language. The duration of the test is one hour. The final selection of candidates will be determined by how well they do in the interviews, group activities, psychometric tests, and preliminary and main exams.
How can I apply for the 2024 SBI PO Recruitment?
Step 1: Go to sbi.gov.in, SBI’s official website.
Step 2: Go to the “Join SBI” section of the jobs site, choose “Current Openings,” and then select the recruiting page for probationary officers.
Step 3: Next, choose the link to apply online and then select “new registration.”
Step 4: To get the login credentials, complete the registration process.
Step 5: Sign in to your account, complete the application, attach supporting documentation, and finally pay.
Step 6: After completing all the requirements, save a duplicate of the completed form for future use.
