And that too, not any special documents. EPFO ​​will give you a list of 19 documents. You have to attach any three documents from those. Yes. Do check that the three documents support the kind of correction you want in your name. These 19 documents are - Aadhar, Passport, Death Certificate, Birth Certificate, Driving License, Service Photo Identity Card of Central or State Government or any of their banks or PSUs, Bank Passbook, PAN Card, Ration Card, Voter ID, Pensioner Photo ID, Any kind of Medical Claim Card, Caste Certificate, Gazette Notification of changed name to change full name or first word of name, Visa with Foreign Passport for foreigners, Freedom Fighter Card, Person of Indian Origin Card, Overseas Citizen of India Card, Tibetan Refugee Card. Of these, only Aadhaar card is mandatory. You can take any other two identification cards from the list.
