Hyderabad: The Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) is going to make many big changes in its digital platform. Its new system can start from March 2025. This advanced platform has been named EPFO ​​3.0. Under this, PF account holders will get withdrawal and other new facilities like ATM.

Recently, Labor and Employment Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that EPFO ​​3.0 can start from March next year and it will be introduced with advanced technology. He said that the platform is being well organized to make the process more robust and easy. With the new system, EPF account holders will be able to withdraw money very easily. Also, you will be able to check and fix every problem related to your account.

Fast resolution of complaints
Labor Minister Mandaviya said, EPFO's advanced platform will provide members the facility to withdraw PF amount, check balance and resolve problems in a convenient manner. He said that the main objective of EPFO ​​3.0 is to make access to funds easier for account holders and strengthen the grievance redressal mechanism.

ATM-like withdrawal facility
According to the report, EPFO ​​3.0 will have a special bank-level complaint redressal system, which will enable account holders to withdraw money like an ATM. For this, an ATM-like card can also be issued. Recently, Labor Secretary Sumita Dawra had informed that ATM withdrawal facility can be available from January itself. She says that the goal of bringing an advanced platform is to remove the shortcomings of the existing system.

EPFO has more than 7 crore active members.
The government is focusing on improving the services of EPFO ​​so that the account holders do not face any problem. Currently, EPFO ​​has more than 7 crore active members. Apart from this, the government is also considering removing the 12 percent limit on Provident Fund (PF) contribution so that employees can be allowed to contribute as per their wish.
