1. Limit on changing name
You can update your name on Aadhaar card only twice in your lifetime. This means that you can correct or change your name up to twice.
2. Changing address
Unlike changing the name, there is no limit on how many times you can update your address in Aadhaar. UIDAI offers an easy process through its Self-Service Update Portal (SSUP), available at ssup.uidai.gov.in.
3. Processing time for updates
According to the UIDAI website, usually 90% of update requests are processed within 30 days. If the update is not completed within 90 days of your request, you can contact UIDAI's toll-free number 1947 for assistance.
4. No limit on linking Aadhaar to mobile number
There is also no limit on the number of Aadhaar numbers that can be linked to a single mobile number. This means that one mobile number can be linked to multiple Aadhaar cards.
