Why you should avoid Autopay mode Unexpected deductions: When Autopay is on, you may forget about services and have money deducted that you no longer use.

Empty bank accounts: Autopay payments can drain your bank balance quickly, especially if you have multiple subscriptions.

Lack of control: With Autopay on, you lose track of your spending. It becomes difficult to track where your money is going, making it easier to overspend.

How to turn off UPI Autopay mode

Open your payment app: Go to your Google Pay or PhonePe app.

Access your profile: Go to your profile settings.

Find the Autopay option: Look for the Autopay feature under Payment modes.

Pause or delete: You will have the option to pause or delete the Autopay setting. Click "Stop" to disable it.
