Govinda Accident News: Famous Bollywood actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda was accidentally shot while cleaning his revolver. The accident happened at 4:45 am on Tuesday, when Govinda was preparing to go to the airport from his home. It is being told that while keeping the revolver in the cupboard, the trigger was accidentally pressed, due to which he got shot in the leg. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, where his condition is now stable and the bullet has been successfully removed. Govinda later assured his fans that he is fine and will recover soon.

Shot while cleaning licensed revolver

Bollywood actor Govinda was accidentally shot while cleaning his licensed revolver. This incident happened when Govinda was preparing to leave his house to go to Kolkata. It is being told that the revolver fell from his hand, due to which it misfired and the bullet hit his knee. After being injured, he was immediately admitted to Criticare Hospital in Mumbai. At present his condition is stable and the police have started investigation on the spot as soon as they got information about this incident. Govinda was preparing to leave for Kolkata when at 4:45 in the morning the revolver falling from his hand misfired and he was shot in the knee. After this he was immediately admitted to the ICU. Police are investigating the incident to find out how this accident happened. However, the hospital has not yet given any official statement on this matter.

Govinda's manager gave information

Govinda's manager Shashi Sinha told the news agency that Govinda was preparing to go to Kolkata and was going to keep his licensed revolver in a case and in the cupboard. Meanwhile, the revolver fell from his hand and misfired, due to which the bullet hit his leg. After this incident, he was immediately admitted to the hospital, where his condition is now said to be stable.

Actor is admitted in ICU

Govinda was immediately admitted to Criticare Hospital after being shot, where the bullet was removed from his leg and he was kept in the ICU. His condition is currently said to be stable. His wife Sunita was not at home at the time of the incident as she was in Kolkata. As soon as Sunita got information about the accident, she left for Mumbai, while her daughter Tina is currently with Govinda in the hospital. Govinda's manager Shashi Sinha told that Govinda himself had called him and informed him about this accident.

Govinda was one of the most popular Bollywood stars of the 90s, having worked in hit comedy films like “Dulhe Raja,” “Hero No. 1,” and “Coolie No. 1.” In March this year, he returned to politics and joined Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena party.
