Tamil superstar Vijay has now become the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. The mega swearing in ceremony took place on May 10 in Chennai.
Amidst all this, fans are also eagerly waiting for Vijay’s filmJana Nayagan’s release. The film’s theatrical release has been in limbo for a while but it looks like we may get some good news soon.
Jana Nayagan producer shares update on Vijay’s filmAfter Vijay swore in as the Chief Minister, K Venkat, producer of Jana Nayagan spoke to the reporters and said, “We are waiting for CBFC certificate. As soon as we get certificate, we will release. We are very happy. Congratulations to Vijay sir for becoming the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. A new chapter begins. Sir, I am sure, will fulfill all the promises. Jana Nayagan will release as soon as we get the certificate.”
Earlier, the producer had taken to social media to congratulate Vijay, “Heartiest congratulations to our ‘Jana Nayagan’, Thalapathy Vijay sir, on scripting history today against all odds. It is indeed a revolution and one that will echo for generations to come.”

We hereby notify that downloading, viewing, storing, forwarding, sharing, uploading or circulating of such leaked content through WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, websites, torrents or any other medium constitutes a criminal offence and a violation of copyright laws,’ reads the public notice.
This film is being touted as Vijay’s last movie and fans are eagerly waiting for the release.
