If cash is deposited into your bank accounts from new numbers, you are advised to file a complaint with the concerned authorities.

The cybercrime police have advised to be vigilant against these types of frauds. The police also explained the pattern of fraud. Even if you are not alert, your bank account will be empty. Criminals who are already committing frauds in new ways are targeting the innocent by using the developing technology in their favor.

Frauds are being committed using popular UPI apps like Google Pay. The police said that the criminals are asking you to send the money transfer to a different number, which you received by mistake. But cybercrime police suggest not to transfer money as they say without any verification.

You should be alerted if someone calls you saying that money has been transferred to your bank account by mistake. Clicking on the link sent by them sometimes risks emptying your bank account. Police warn that there is a possibility of hacking your bank accounts and stealing money through the link they sent.

These types of frauds have come to light in the past as well . They claim that they have deposited money into your account by mistake and ask you to send it back to their account immediately. They are advised to send the money immediately to the bank account they mentioned in case of emergency like hospital. If you transfer money believing it to be true, criminals have a chance to know your bank account details.

But in the past cyber criminals committed frauds in a slightly different way. What happened in Bangalore in the past..?
Earlier, a woman from Bangalore tweeted about this type of fraud. Based on her post.. One day when she was in the office she got a phone call. He said he had to send money to your father. He said that he will send it to your number. While talking on the call, they received a message in the format sent by the bank that the money has been credited to their account. But the person talking on the call said that they have to give only Rs.3000 to your father.. They sent Rs.30000 by mistake. Requested to send it back immediately. He started crying loudly saying that he was at the doctor and that he should send his money back immediately. That's when he realized it was a scam.
