Visit the nearest Aadhaar service center:
Visit the Aadhaar service center with your spouse. It is advisable to go together to simplify the process.
Fill out the update form:
At the center, you will have to fill out a form with details like your name, Aadhaar number, and mobile number.
Prepare and submit the required documents:
Your husband's Aadhaar card
Your marriage certificate
Your marriage card
Document verification:
The officer at the center will verify and collect your documents as required.
Update your biometrics and photograph:
Your biometrics (fingerprints, iris scan) will be taken, and a new photo will be taken.
Update information:
Once the documents and biometrics are processed, your Aadhaar details will be updated. It may take some time for it to reflect in the system.
Get your updated Aadhaar card:
For an additional fee of Rs 50, you can get a PVC (polyvinyl chloride) Aadhaar card delivered to your home.
