Due to which the government wants that people should have an Aadhaar card for land as well in which a unique identification number is given. So the Modi government is working on a big scheme.

Now Bhu Aadhaar Card will be made for the land

Urban land will be digitized by 2027

The Modi government has announced to provide unique identification numbers for all land plots in rural areas in the General Budget 2024. Which is now called Bhu-Aadhaar. The government is going to digitize urban land records by 2027 through an important scheme.

How does Bhu Aadhaar work?

Bhu-Aadhaar is a new document for people, hence it is important to know how it works. If Bhu-Aadhaar of a plot is to be made, then first geo tagging is done using GPS technology. After this, the surveyors do the physical verification and measurement of the boundaries of the plot.

Now the information of the plot, which includes details like owner's name, use category, area etc. is entered and saved. After which the 14 digit Bhu-Aadhaar number for the plot automatically comes in the system.
