The era of biometric authentication is about to come!

National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has recently announced that it is preparing to bring a big change in the UPI payment system. UPI PIN will become a thing of the past

If this new system is implemented, then the existing UPI PIN system will become history. This means that now your payment will be done by your fingerprint or face recognition, which will make your security even stronger.

Part of RBI initiative

This step is being taken after the recent suggestions given by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). RBI had suggested options like biometrics for additional identity verification (AFA) in digital transactions. The main objective of this initiative is to make digital payments even more secure.
