Renowned Bollywood director and choreographer Farah Khan and filmmaker Sajid Khan’s mother, Menaka Irani, has passed away at the age of 79.
Indian actor and film critic Kamal Rashid Khan, known as ‘KRK,’ shared the sad news on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), posting a picture of Farah Khan and her mother.
Kamal Rashid Khan expressed his condolences and shared the news of Menaka Irani’s death.
According to Indian media, Menaka Irani had been ill for some time and was undergoing treatment in the hospital.
Fans of Farah Khan and Sajid Khan are mourning the loss of their mother and are praying for patience and strength for the filmmaker siblings.
It is noteworthy that on July 12, Farah Khan posted a special message on her official Instagram account to celebrate her mother’s birthday.
She reflected on how much she cherishes her mother, describing her as the strongest and bravest person she has ever known.
Farah Khan also expressed her love for her mother, who maintained a cheerful demeanor despite undergoing several surgeries.
